Postdocs interested in joining the lab should reach out so we can discuss funding opportunities. I'm especially interested in nice humans who have mad skills in bioinformatics/ML/AI, high-performance computing, fungal culturing, field and/or microcosm experimentation.
If you have a background in bioinformatics or data science with interests in microbiology and ecology, let's discuss possible projects. Potential graduate students should reach out to me well in advance of applying to the Applied Science PhD Program. Applications for Fall admission are due early February. If you’re interested in doing a PhD in my lab, I’d like to be in conversation with you about it the prior September, if possible.
Undergraduate W&M student applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Please feel free come by my office to chat with me to see what projects are available, or to propose a new one. Priority is given to students with 2 or more years left until graduation. We will work together to develop a research experience that is mutually beneficial.
